Hello again everyone, hope you all had a good week. My week was pretty good, although there was a fair bit of driving. I had to drive the 200KM down to Auckland and to pick up my new companion Elder Fitzsimmons, whom I will be training and then the 200KM back to Dargaville with a stop in Ruakaka to drop off some other Elders. So this will be a fun experience, with hope I will completely ruin him.. .. . Nah that probably will happen by trying not to ruin him, it's just inevitable.
So far with Elder Fitzsimmons we have had a fantastic time together, he is an absolute crack-up. He is from Lehi, was in marching band, and has a Korean girlfriend back home. . . . An absolute crack-up I tell you. We have only gone out proselyting for 2 days now, and have had some pretty crazyaz experiences. They just make me laugh when thinking about them. For example we were talking to the gang member and the moment I opened my mouth to speak he threatened to bash my head in with this club, but he was more than happy to let Elder Fitzsimmons speak so that is what we did. Absolutely hilarious times, and he just seems to inadvertently break mission rules like inviting this man into the flat to hang out with us, even though it is only missionaries allowed in the flat. Luckily the man was working and declined the offer, although just playing it over in my head what if the man did come into the flat? What would I then have done? Good times.
As for the rest of the week, a bit disappointing, still no baptisms and no progressing investigators and no investigators came to conference and no less actives came either. So we have lots of work that we can be doing better on luckily Elder Fitzsimmons is here, he will be a miracle worker I know it!
