Other than that the week was great! Frank and Sophia were baptized this weekend and confirmed on Sunday. Frank, was good, just a loud eleven-year-old that we taught for a few weeks and then Sophia, who I wasn't even sure she wanted to be baptized she just kinda did after four months of working with her.
Still breaking down that language barrier with my companion, and I think that it is harming my English. I communicate with him in broken English and then I get weird looks sometimes in lessons because I'm speaking to them with broken English when everyone knows I'm from the States. I tell people that I'm from California (I am by the way) because Utah gets people to be a bit put off because it is the Mormon capital of the world. And it is a habit that I have ever since an old companion because when he said he was from Utah, I could not be from the same place. That was kind of strange, But he's my son so that is just how it goes. Apparently I'm a Great-Grandfather in the mission, which is strange but not too common this early in a mission and it just makes me laugh when this kind of speech is used.
Hope you all have a wonderful week and continue to read from the scriptures. Learned a small lesson about enjoying corrections in the 1st Book of Corinthians today Chapter 3. Take a read if you want. If not, no worries.
Have a good one. Kia Ora
