how is the week going? mine was alright. Staying in Whangarei for another trasnfer! woo hoo! that should be fun and exciting and other such stuff. Still with Elder Seui. Had a little verbal scrap the other day where he nearly hit me and threw my camera against the wall. egg. But it's all good, we'll manage out another transfer and work hard and I'll give trainings and he'll chill out in his "I'm Samoan" corner.
The rest of the week went good though. Not too many people seen though, busy with transfers and we are scraping through our former investigators to see if we can find some new people. And P-day is on Tuesday because yesterday we had a Specialized Training with President and Sister Lekias. Their last one before they head on out. And they gave it on Obedience and how it is far easier to stay 100% obedient than 98% percent obedient (compare to tree of life and the strait and narrow path compared to a windy road that eventually leads back to the tree of life, but it ends up being longer than the strait and narrow path would have been). Had a picture and I'm nearly done with the BoM 90 day Feast that we have done. comparing the last verse in the BoM with our last visit with President Lekias was a bit touching. Now we just wait on President Balli to come into the Mission on Sunday, not sure if that is breaking the Sabbath or not, probably not but I don't know.
Other than that really not too much happened this week. Had this miracle though. So our appointment canceled with Annette and we forgot to tell the fellowship that was coming with us that it canceled and they went that night and they had a wonderful night with her! Spent over an hour with her just talking at her home and then they brought her to the Come & See Fireside this Sunday at the chapel which she really enjoyed!! With the strong fellowship family there we may be able to make real strides with her and she may begin to keep commitments and try coming to church. Can't wait for that to happen, and that was probably our miracle for the week.
Have a wonderful week if you would like,
Elder Long
