Malo e lelei!
In case you couldn't tell that is not Maori. Why you may ask, well that would be bacause I am not in the North anymore with the Maori's I am the Southern edge of the mission now!!! With all of the Islanders, where we go hard!
Fun fact from the week, if the Assistants call you the night of transfers and ask you if you believe in Modern Revelation, learn from my mistake and just say no. If accidentally you say that you do believe in that stuff, well you may be called to be a District Leader with no training underneath one like I am. So for all of the slow ones, yes I am now a District Leader of the Mangere district in the Papatoetoe stake. So now I make nightly phone calls and give advice and commitments every night to the missionaries in my District which are Sister Senicurikiri and Sister Casaquite; Sister Tugaga and Sister Havea; and Elder Suh and Elder Obeng; Welcome to The District. The Sisters are the Samoan sisters for those wards and then just another area in Mangere for Elder Suh and Elder Obeng. Already have some interesting stories. One involving Sister Tugaga and Sister Havea where we suddenly had to leave our lesson and get Sister Tugaga home because she passed out and her eyes were turning red, but it was just Hay Fever from the heat.
It is Hot as out here!!! We start sweating so much just between the car and the house. But I like it down here. . . hard!!
Right, my new companion is Elder Child and we get heaps of jokes because we don't have names as last names, just words. Or that is what the Islanders say anyways. Yeah nah, they do enjoy learning my last name and then they follow up with "You should be Elder Short!" Hahaha, jokes jokes. These people, they make me smile.
Well that is just about it for this week, although we do have some keen as Tongans, Ana and Ray, who we are teaching and will be setting a date for the 21st of December!! They just have to come to Church every week now, should be sweet as!
I'm a bit tired of computers at the moment and I want to save all the money that I can. Also because I don't have a mission bank card at the moment, because I lost it. . . shucks! Ah well, Orders are here, so that means that I will just load up things to order and then there will be no money that I can't have. If that made sense, I think it did.
