Hello there!
Hope you had a fantastic week, my week was fairly great as well. Had a trade-off with my Zone Leader Elder Denkers out in Hikurangi and parts of Whangarei. That was great and then we had a Zone Conference down in Henderson, Auckland. That was fantastic!!!! Had Elder Haleck and Sister Haleck from the Area Presidency there for the conference. So that was mint. Still haven't had a Hongi yet, so a little bit depressing on that end. Other than that, I had a very good week.
The week consisted of this starting out with the trade-off and out in Whangarei we were able to see Dani boy, also a woman named Cat. Also had a lesson with Loreen, who has had some crazyaz experiences that have been directing her to missionaries. Coming back from that, I came back to four new investigators!!!!! Incredible! And over the course of the week we received 3 more investigators!! The lord has been blessing us out here, and really it means that we are living in a way worthy of meeting those he has been preparing, now we just have to teach them in a way that they can make the correct choice and choose God!
Well, not really too sure what else to say about this week, it was mainly just filled with driving to Auckland and back, trying to visit investigators and invite them to church, and then them not coming to church. So I guess this week I could share a little bit on faith. Out here faith is expressed in different ways and for myself right now that means placing my faith and trust in someone that isn't physically there with me, to guide me and my companion to those out here who need a visit. In PMG it is stated as having the faith to find. Having the faith to find investigators and people who could use a visit or could just use some help. We would love to teach and help others progress towards their salvation, but for many people that is not something they are currently interested in so we search for service and with hope we may become their friends. That is one of the greatest ways that people come into the gospel is because those who live the gospel are friendly and are their friends and are making their lives and burdens lighter and helping them realize that Christ is there for them and is working through others. That is a lesson that has been a bit rough for myself out here, learning that lesson that many pole really, just do not want to listen and would rather me mow their lawn or dig a hole for them to burn rubbish in. The best thing is, is that that is great!!! That may be how the gospel needs to be introduced into their lives. Never consider an act of service to be below you, the Saviour descended below them all, without degrading himself or his purpose he gave an incredible act of service in all things and during his entire life. To those of whom we meet that are not of the church may need your help in something that will help them come closer to the Lord or maybe just some help and then they want you to get off of their property. Either way the Lord needed you to be willing to give that act of service. We will still have our agency and they still have their agency, but we can show them just how great it is to let his light fully illuminate your life. Love you all heaps! No matter what! I know that the Saviour came for all of us and when you are not sure which kind of person you should be, be as he is.
