Hello again! Hope you are all doing well. Not too much has changed since last week, although I am no longer learning Niuean, not transferred, just not asked to learn the language and I am off of the board for going to Niue and will probably go back to being a District leader in a transfer or two according to mission president. Which is why I am e-mailing today and not yesterday. We had interviews yesterday with the mission president and he had us work a normal day yesterday.

General Conference was great! I know it's a bit late but the talks were cutting. Straight to the point and a little bit of a rebuke. Not everyone took it too great in our chapels, but that happens sometimes. Also since most people don't have computers or internet in their homes, that is why they broadcast it at the chapels the following weekend, most of our week was spent just helping people get to conference this weekend. Which was great! Played conference games with less-active families and pretty invited everyone we could to attend some of the sessions and we got two people to show up!! Losa, the 11 year old that her mum would let her join the church, and Avis, who I still have never met in person but whom my companion said that he saw.

Also as a funny note, we played touch with our Young Men on Friday to support out the quorum but at the end of it one of the kids mom's made cupcakes for us to pick up but the leader forgot to go pick them up and now he is no longer allowed to attend youth night. So more lame than funny but still a little bit funny; and the family may be switching wards as well because the dad probably won't become a Bishop in this ward. . . They are a bit crazy but such are Niueans.

Another thing that happened is that this week is Vagahau Niue week, or Niuean language week and this man committed everyone at the event to only speak in Vagahau Niue for the entire week, which some of our members have taken up which will this week very interesting.

That was pretty much the week. Laters
