now. Still all alive and stuff and as for the the week was pretty
good. Didn't get up to too much and it was transfers! Something is
always exciting about transfers and Elder Vave has left to another
companion now and I am staying in the same area with my new companion
Elder Bowman, he's from Jerome, Idaho.
We had a good conversation with a man named Fred, who we are pretty
sure is a Samoan minister for some church who kept telling us how Paul
wrote that first God would send prophets but then he would send Christ
and when Christ left he would leave the Spirit and then we need no
more prophets. Or something like that it was a bit confusing what he
was trying to say and then he said that we weren't the correct church
(not that he believes in churches) because we weren't agreeing with
him and thereby lacked the unity of faith required by churches as
stated in Ephesian's. I don't know if any of that is correct, it all
sounds familiar except I don't know if the unity of faith thing is in
Ephesian's or not.
Also my companion broke a basketball on Saturday. Long story but the
moral is when you gain weight on a mission it becomes more difficult
to play basketball so don't play too hard.
Have an awesome week everyone!
Elder Long
P.S. my companion is 6'8"
