Yo, how has the week been? Hope it's been pretty good for all of yous.
The week was another great week, full of stuff happening kind of. We
did have a fun Come & See fireside about the Book of Mormon that we
had our invesigator Seligi to come to. Not sure if that is how it is
spelled exactly but that is how it sounds at least. He enjoyed it as
well, which was the plus and he's close to committing to a date now,
maybe. It's bit hard to tell with Seligi.
And I don't have my planner on me to go over my days last week. I
forget my planner somewhere close to 3 times a day now. Feel like an
idiot when we have to go back to a less actives home and ask for my
planner, but's that pretty much just me in all my glory. We have two
missionaries that go home tomorrow, Elder Hill and Sister Takai, back
to Canada and to Utah. Elder Hill was the one who was my zl in
papatoetoe and then went assistant for 5 transfers and then went to a
dl in my new zone and I know pretty much nothing about Sister Takai
other than she had too much fun in pap with Sister Salt and shifted
out after 6 weeks. Crazy just how many missionaries I know now are
going back home. We have 4 in the zone that head out next transfer.
And speaking of which transfers are this week where I'll be getting a
new companion, so that will be fun. Elder Vave is going back to the
Tongan program and someone new will be coming in. Something is always
exciting about transfer week, just something about change.
That was pretty much our week, rained quite a bit and we received some
referrals for these Niuean families this week!! Finally, first
referrals for ages! We need permission from President to contact one
of them because they live like a +30 minute drive away. With hope
we'll have some nice success there.
Have a great week everyone, take care
laters,
Elder Long
