Well hello there, hope everything is pretty well on your end.
Not too much happening this week, just trying to get an investigator baptized, but that didn't end up happening. And it may be pushed back to an indefinite date . . . sad one, but we move on and work with more people.
Hooray for Christmas, that also happened this past week, which was mean! Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers. We have reaped heaps of miracles and blessings from them. I really appreciate it.
Feeling a little bit sick this week, but I think it is happening because we ran out of K's in our car and had to ride the bikes. So, no good on that part. Biking is the worst, but then we actually get to talk to people in the area and not just a few every now and then. And then sometimes we are going too fast and miss people and walking should have been better. But we try.
Shifts are coming up now so calls will be coming in either tomorrow or the next day or not ever and then we just keep on.
Really not too much to know about this week, not too much happened it was slow as with heaps of people out of town for the holidays.
As for a cool experience this week, we were trying to visit Tewhaa, our most recent drop, and we went to his home and he wasn't there. But his dad, Chico, was there and so we talked with him. And had a fantastic conversation with him where we learned that heaps of his children are actually being baptized in the church here and down in Hamilton and he is slightly curious himself into making a change, just not too soon. He was also the one who dropped food off to the New Zealand MTC for us missionaries, so that was an odd thing that he mentioned. Still good though. The Lord has really softened his heart where he is willing to listen to this message about the restored gospel here on the Earth.
Excited to get back to work and enjoy the always dodgy transfer week.
have a good one,
Elder Long
